HOW WE MET
HIS Story —
Our story begins in the halls of SMCCS. Thank God I transferred schools, as it gave me the opportunity to meet the love of my life. From strangers with barely any interaction, we became text mates and close friends, so comfortable with each other that I ended up confiding in her about all my crushes and school dilemmas.
This dynamic continued until one day in my fourth year of high school, I finally realized my true feelings for her. I decided to pursue her, and I thanked all my luck stars she said yes and we officially started our relationship on April 16th, 2012.
As we tread the path to further pursue our education, our love stood resilient against the tests of time. From the classrooms of Sisters of Mount Carmel to the vibrant campus of FEU Diliman, there we walked hand in hand, sharing dreams, frustrations, challenges and new environment.
With each passing year, our relationship matures, weathering the storms of exams, late-night study sessions, starting OJT together and the uncertainties of college life. Finally we Graduated and became a full pledged adult, still in love and helping each other to become the best version of ourselves.
Years past of being consistently in love, on warm blissful night on November, I knelt before her, had my heart laid bare, as I asked for her hand in marriage. With the promise of lifetime and happiness, we prepare for a new chapter, bound by love’s eternal flame.

I remember the first time I noticed him, we were 1st year highschool students. He was effortlessly twirling a book on his fingers. I thought to myself, “mapapagalitan to kakaikot ng libro”. As fate would have it, we gradually grew closer through our 2nd and 3rd year in highschool. He started to share his secrets, his crushes, and his dilemmas with me, neither of us knowing that one day, we would be each other’s everything.
It all began with endless texting and late-night chats. He had a playful side, always teasing me, asking for my snacks, and challenging me to Tetris. Then one morning after a party, he messaged me, wondering where I was. I could not help but tease him, asking why he was searching for me. That moment sparked a new dynamic between us, leading to playful flirtation and, soon enough, after him losing at a game in Tetris, he asked if he could court me. He visited me every night bringing foods, even risking being caught by my grandmother. After a few months, I finally said yes to being his girlfriend.
We became inseparable, and every moment felt like a perpetual honeymoon. I often wondered when that magical feeling would fade, but it never did. Even though we were not together we still cannot get away from each other.
He has been my steadfast rock through every joy, sorrow, and emotion in between. With him, everything is more vibrant, more profound. After 12 years together, I am certain that we will always choose each other, knowing both the best and the worst of us.
And then, after years of shared dreams and whispered promises, he knelt and asked me to be his wife. With all my heart, I said yes.
